…ABOVE normal temperatures the next couple days…

Max temperatures has risen into the middle 50s to middle 60s today across the state. These above normal temperatures stick around tomorrow, ahead of a weak cold front pushing through the region. Not expecting much, if any accumulations with this frontal passage.

While temperatures do take a slight step back for the second half of the work week, attention will turn to several waves of RAINFALL that will pass through the region starting Friday and lasting through the weekend. We are still several days out from the start of the event, but current forecast points to the potential for 1.5+ inches for most of the state. Stay tuned as we move forward this week for adjustments to the forecast. This will likely create a muddy mess for livestock producers. Specialists advise to start thinking about rotating where they feed cattle in the following article from UK Ag Communications here.

Outlooks continue to hint at higher confidence in above normal temperatures and precipitation through the first week of March.
